Hi! I am a volunteer here and my name is Ilse. I am from the Netherlands and I am 18 years old. My hobbies are reading, watching movies (I like Harry Potter a lot) and meeting with friends. I decided to take a gap year after High School to do some volunteer-work, but that isn’t the only reason: I really wanted to meet new people and get more experience from living abroad. The reasons why I decided to come specifically here in Slovenia are, because of the project, I like to work with children and this project really appealed to me. Slovenia is also a really beautiful country, I really like the mountains here (in the Netherlands there aren’t any) and I like the seaside. I’ve been here for less than two weeks and I’m already having a great time.
